Do Ceramic Coating Products Insulate:

Our ceramic coating does not work on the principle of "R-value" or resistance to the transfer of heat/cold, much like the way traditional insulation works, in slowing down the loss of heat or cold. Instead, our product works on the principle of "S-value" or resistance to solar gain much the way Low E works in a window, by reflecting the sun's harmful infrared and ultraviolet rays and heat, lighter colors will provide this reflective benefit better than darker colors. Additionally the long term elimination of cracks on the exterior substrate will reduce air infiltration with wall system. Due to the many other variable existing conditions in homes and commercial structures we do not make, state, or warrant any energy savings will occur.

Our products are not designed to replace traditional insulation systems. Our products do however provide a reflective enhancement to roof and wall insulation systems. From time to time customers give us unsolicited testimonials concerning savings, and our Dealers have the ability to demonstrate how the reflective qualities of the products perform while in your home.

Do Ceramic Coating Products Create A Moisture Barrier.

Yes, the product locks out 100% of moisture molecules but allows moisture vapor to pass through, in other words, it works on the same principals as Gortex. Moisture solids cannot get through, they set on the surface and evaporate, but the coating can breathe so vapor can pass through. This breathability protects the coating long term as well as the substrate and wall or roof system. This protection means no more wood rot, a building that is not waterproofed is not protected.

How Will It Look On My Home:

It has a rich satin finish designed to look just like a fresh, rich coat of paint for many years to come. PaintOnce Ceramic Coating yields a beautiful, smooth satin finish that hides imperfections in the underlying substrate and leaves an upscale pleasing soft finish.

What About Dirt Pickup:

PaintOnce® Coatings have a soft sheen that prevents dirt and stains better than flat finish paints. The surface is tighter and special additives repel stains and dirt for a beautiful look.

What About Mold And Mildew:

Our Ceramic systems show NO Growth after inoculated with 4 active microorganisms in an extremely high humidity test environment.

I Live On A Golf Course, What About Golf Ball Damage:

Our Ceramic based Coatings withstand up to 20 inch pounds of pressure with no effect, so in most cases an errant golf ball will not effect the coating in any way. It is also extremely resistant to typical environmentally induced abrasion.

How Do You Know It Will Last:

ASTM D-822 / G-26 With no deterioration of the coating film, no cracking, chalking, blistering or peeling after the simulated 20 year weathering cycle. The Coating retained all its characteristics after this test, proving many more service years beyond the simulated 20 years could still be enjoyed and expected. In addition we have performed 250 continuous hours of High Humidity Resistance testing with no evidence of peeling, blistering or delamination from the substrate. In addition NO water penetrated a 12 dry mil film sample, during a 24 hour test, whereby water was propelled at the sample via a 98 mile per hour wind!

What Prevents The Ceramic System From Cracking:

ASTM D-2370 proves our Ceramic System exceeds 200% elongation with 100% memory retention. ASTM D-1737 proves the Ceramic System exceeds 1/8" mandrel bend with NO cracking, chipping or flaking. Therefore the coating moves with your substrate and normal building expansion and contraction occur from season to season, or day to day.

Can I Afford This Type System For My Home Or Commercial Building:

We know if you can afford to pay a painter year after year you certainly can afford a onetime PaintOnce Application. Why would you want to rent paint when you can own coating? Our system pays for itself overtime through decreased exterior maintenance costs. Painting expense is generally 80% labor to the consumer, why not use the best possible product one time and eliminate the future expense?

How About Touchup:

The Coating is easy to touch up and repair in the event of extraordinary damage caused by outside influences.

Is The Product Safe And Nontoxic:

Yes, the System is nontoxic and is not a health hazard when used as directed. Contains NO Lead or Chromium. Our solvent system is pure water, no other solvents or additives are required to accomplish extraordinary results.

How Many Colors Can I Choose From:

Pastel/Medium and Deep bases are available for a wide range of color tinting options while using a minimum of colorants. As a result it can be tinted to over 5000 colors with clear reproduction and consistent tint strength.

I Live Near The Ocean, Will Salt Spray Harm The Coating:

No, ASTM D-1654 exceeds 250 continuous hours of salt spray exposure to the product with no evidence of peeling, blistering or film deterioration.

Tell Me Why Paint Fails And Your Product Will Last:

Most Paints are up to 30% solids by weight, so 70% of what you put on the wall evaporates into thin air, most paints also generally apply at about 2 dry mils (2/1000ths of an inch) of thickness. Our system on the other hand is up to 72% solids by weight, so what you are paying for stays on your home, and your money is not floating away into thin air. Our system dries at 12 to 14 mils but still carries the appearance of Paint. If the average paint job lasts 5 years at 2 dry mils you should be able to now better understand how we last many years, as our application is 6 to 7 times thicker chemically, but visually from an appearance standpoint looks like paint.
